If the application “can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software”:
a) Open System Preferences (Cmd + Space and search “System Preferences”) and go to Security and Privacy
b) Press Open Anyway
c) Press Open

I tried your game because i'm gonna join this year's jam. I found it really funny, the concept feels interesting to me and i like the art. I enjoyed the characters and their little "skills". Keep it up! :)
